    great room: comfortable, stylish - In the morning the staff cooked our breakfast amongst the guests (we were all sitting in the kitchen) and it was very homely.

    I liked the idea of having an Indian restaurant under the rooms. The meal there was excellent. - The staff were friendly and supportive. The room was just what I needed - a base to come back to each night.

    The hotel is set at the side of the Grand Union Canal and we had a lovely walk along there seeing lots of wildlife. The evening meal we had was delicious and good value for money. Our room had an en-suite (we had a loft room, room 8) and was very clean. Tea & coffee facilities were provided but they forgot the cups. Our breakfast was lovely. A 20 min walk from Southall train station, through a very ethnic diverse high street, but the hotel itself is in a lovely - It was clean and comfortable, really a set of rooms above a pub. The landlord cooks the meals and they are quite good British fare. Someone said there was no breakfast; well this is not true, I had one most days I was there. If you want a homely comfortable environment where you can relax versus a sharp hotel, this is a very good place to go.
