The location is fantastic, just round the corner from the tube station and Borough Market. Our room was comfortable and welcoming and very quiet even on a Saturday night. - Room was comfortable. As we had arrived early our room wasn’t quite ready, but the receptionist immediately got onto the housekeeping to make it a priority. We were given the delicious warm cookie to eat while we checked in. We left our luggage and went to do some sightseeing.   The bar, restaurant, lounge and locker area were absolutely amazing! They were places that welcomed a single traveller and really encouraged them to start chatting with other people in the hostel. The whole layout of that area was superb, by far the best I've encountered during my travels, and I'm definitely going to stay at another St. Christopher... what people say » s Hostel in the future. Also, the staff really were excellent, always smiling, extremely friendly, with such a genuine "can do" attitude. 10/10 al - Breakfast was simple but fine. The hostel was for girls only and therefore quiet and clean. There was lots of space in the room (compared to other same type of hostels) and there were lockers for everyone under the beds. Free wi-fi in the room. For that price it was perfect!

  The front desk managed to get us rooms when we checked in at 10am after arriving straight from the airport. Another plus point was the close proximity to both Bank and Monument tube stations as well as Liverpool Street Station. There's a nearby Sainsbury and Tesco Metro stores for added convenience. It is true that the City was dead in the weekends... what people say » but we didn't mind. - Club Quarters chain is extremely consistant in quality. Values forweekend deals are terrific. The Superior rooms are superior in size andcomfort. In-room coffee/tea is wonderful-free coffee in lobby evenbetter. Decent, but not great, location for tourists - terrific forbusiness people - easy walk from Monument and Bank metro stops.
