  Good location: walking distance to the Piccadilly Station (about 15 mins, free bus runs on this route), close to the shopping district (about 10 mins). There are many small eateries close to the hotel and a Subway restaurant downstairs - we had breakfast there. Rooms well equipped - hairdryer, tea/coffee set. Clean, the staff is helpful (or at lea... what people say » st they try to be). - Staff were very friendly and helpful. Booked us a taxi when asked. We ate our evening meal at the hotel and the food was good value for money and excellent portion sizes. We also had breakfast which was great value for money. The room was basic but all we required. The beds were comfortable. The room was very clean.

  The hotel is ideally situated just between the very city centre and the universities, it's walking distance from major Manchester sites. The room was comfortable, clean and had tea facilities. Breakfasts were good (with a variety of options). The staff was very efficient, I especially would like to thank Joanna for her excellent work.   All was perfect. The location is very close to city centre just 5 or 10 minutes walk. The room is quite nice and clean, there is enough space to store things or to work and there is a kettle in the room. So close to Piccadilly Station and Canal Street, a couple of minutes walk. Kettle in room with some tea and coffee. Plenty of storage and basic shower room and toilet. Can't ask for more. Convenient, clean and comfortable.

  If your looking to stay in a 5 star hotel, this is not it. But for the tariff, this hotel is a little gem in Manchester. The staff were very helpful the continental breakfast was very good. Rooms were clean and adequately supplied with tea and coffeee making facilties.
