  The location was great, just a stones throw from shops, theatre/bars/restaurants, Princes Street and other attractions. The staff very helpful (especially the doorman-William), the rooms were very well equiped, clean and tidy and escaped out onto a rooftop expance that gave great views out over Edinburgh. We were given a rooftop garden room which affords great views over Calton Hill and towards the sea. The beds are very luxurious. The hotel is near all the main shopping and attractions. The honesty bar is great and reflects well on the hotel. Breakfast was right out of the top drawer. 1st class break.

  To keep it in a nutshell - everything! We stayed in the triple room (Nr. 1) which is to the rear side of the building with garden view and very quiet. We left the window open all night. The room is equipped with a fridge, microwave, TV, etc. and tastefully decorated to the highest standard. The breakfast is superb and offers a wide range of choice... what people say » s and the owners are so lovely people. We felt at home from the first moment on and they've secured their place in my Top-5-list of Scottish B&Bs. - Dave and Susan were the nicest couple, who made you feel friendly and at home in their beautiful Georgian style B&B in the city centre of Edinburgh. The B&B is conveniently located; it's a 25 minutes walk to the Royal Mile or a bus ride of 5 minutes. The breakfast was exceptionally well organised with lots of fresh fruits, croissants, yoghurts and cereals, and many different sorts of baked goods. I would recommend this B&B to everyone and if we return to Edinburgh, we will definitel

  Absolutely wonderful place to stay!!! We came with a 4 month old, and they could not have been more accommodating! It was raining and they even lent us umbrellas for the day. The room was wonderful, clean and the staff were beyond nice. I would recommend this place to stay for anyone visiting Edinburgh. Plus it's right in the middle of everyth... what people say » ing fun in the city! - Absolutely thrilled with this hotel. Location, Price, customer serviceand general atmosphere was more than I could have hoped for. We didhave one problem that when we first got our room it wasnt clean butthis was quickly rectified and we got a new room and a welcome pack.Only other problem was tv reception but I did not spend much timewatching tv anyway.

  Staff were welcoming on arrival and gave us plenty of information. The room was just what we needed, it was clean comfortable and cosy(important for Edinburgh in the winter). The facilities were ideal and we were able to get extra tea and coffee supplies for the room with compliments and a smile from reception. Breakfast at Ricks Bar was a pleasure... what people say » and very enjoyable. - Enjoyed my 2 day stay immensely, hotel was very clean,warm and staff were very friendly and helpful. Also hotel is in the ideal location for local attractions etc. Would book again, no hesitation !

  Right from the minute the lift opened at reception area, we were very warmly welcomed by two lovely girls who were genuinely pleased to see us. I cannot rate the staff highly enough and if any premier inn - Stayed in the Premier inn on Princess street from the 2th to 23rd of Nov 2013. The Hotel is just a 5-7min walk from the waverly railway station and is directly opposite the famous Edinburgh Castle. Although we dint spend much time in the hotel and dint get a chance to dine in, but the Hotel was very nice, Clean and had all amenities one could ask for. A value for money hotel for people travelling to Scotland and are in a mood to Explore rather than stay in!

It had a lovely lounge and kitchen area with plenty of seating & comfortable sofas. It was good to have the balconies to go out onto. The kitchen had all vital facilities and plenty of cutlery. The bedrooms had ample storage space and wardrobe areas so were great. Overall a lovely clean apartment.
