  It is a suite hotel less than a ten minute walk from the main Railway Station and ten seconds off the Royal Mile. Our suite was actually a fully equipped apartment with dishwasher, microwave kitchen sink refrigerator and plenty of kitchen utensils. Perfect location - closer to the station. However, you will surely need to take a cab from the Metro to the Hotel (if carrying heavy luggage) 2nd option would be to climb around 108 steps towards the hotel (from the metro station).   The breakfast was very tasty with lots of choice. Everything was served to your table which was nice but I actually prefer a buffet where you can choose what you want as you eat. Because everything here was served, you had to order your drink, cold starter and hot breakfast all at the same time. We were a little worried that butlers wou - This hotel (the Howard) is really very nice. The bathrooms were fabulous I have never seen a bathroom as nice. My husband loved the shower. The staff were really nice, friendly and very helpful and the butlers well they could not do enough for you. There were no tea making facilities in the room however you just had to request a drink and the butlers brought a freshly made drink to your room, all complimentary and all very lovely.
