  All the staff were friendly, (even though it was a big modern hotel)they were courteous and very helpful.   The staff on reception were exceptionally helpful on our arrival and allowed us to check in 3 hours early and parked the car for us. We had just arrived from a business night in the Intercontinental Park Lane and taking away the fancy veneer in the room the City Inn was every bit as good (if not better). - Liked the fact that all the little extras ... what people say » were in the room and included in price (apart from prices for the mini bar) ie: free internet access, iron/ironing board, hairdryer, bath robes, mini bar, basket of goodies. There is also a fantastic cocktail bar and restaurant on site and amazing views. - City inn was absolutely brilliant. Clean and spacious,the room even had a Thames view. There was a computer in the room and broadband was free. I wish I had known about the complimentary tea/coffee/cakes which were out of view in a cupbord in the room and I only found out later when booking out.

  Nice check in experience - after asking staff about our welcome bottle of wine it arrived on ice to our room within minutes. An excellent way to start a night out. Room service was reduced by 25% between 3 and 5pm so had some food too. King Prawn Ceasar salad was great. Don't expect a great river view unless you have paid extra, perfect location... what people say » for all the main tourist activities in London. - Room was very clean and comfortable. The concierge was extremely helpfulin helping us with transport to the airport, as well as with suggestionsfor a nice restaurant. The kitchen is also very good. Originally we booked 4 nights in another central London hotel, but we were very displeased with that hotel's room condition and the way their personnel attended to our complaints. This is a hotel I - The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, even though we arrived much later than anticipated. The room was very clean, comfortable and quite luxurious. The location of the hotel was fantastic for us. It was within walking distance of many great restaurants, shops and tourist attractions without it feeling too hectic. The transport links were also very good and only a 3 minute walk away. I cannot wait to stay at the Flemings Mayfair again.

  Employees were so friendly, I loved how friendly and hospitable they were. Location is much better than expected its right next to oxford street and shopping is perfect for that! There's a Sainsbury next to it as well as a phone shop which is perfect for a tourist. Doormen are super nice, and very helpful. I love this hotel and look - The young well trained staff are excellent. The Hotel entrance is amazing, very polite doormen opening doors into the fabulous foyer, probably one of the best entrances in London. The place was very busy with a young clientele. Our room 210 was a good size but did not feel it was the 28mts as was advertised. A large TV with over 100 channels. Good bathroom with huge walk-in shower. Good selection of drinks and a whole drawer of nibbles. Highly recommended.
