  I had booked a small room which proved to be lovely decorated. It was located at the back of the house and had all I could wish for. Teapot, plenty of biscuits, two bottles of water, some chocolates. The bathroom had a shower and had mini bottles of shampoo, shower gel and bodylotion.   The location, the sense of familiarity. Being a solo traveller you felt secure and that if something went wrong there would be help. At breakfast with the other guests, while at separate tables, the host made it feel like a big friendly group. The owners know the area and were very helpful. We left early, before breakfast the breakfast hours had started, and they were kind enough to pack us sandwiches and fruit to take with us on the train. The rooms were bright and clean, and both the mattresses and the pillows were deliciously comfortable. (This was in contrast to previous hotels on our trip.) I would very happily stay here again.
