The 4 poster room we stayed in, was bright, clean, extremely comfortable and had a aired of wealth about it. We had a great weekend away and the hotel/owners played a strong part in this.

A short walk to town, although walking up the hill (back from Bath) can be challenging if you have poor fitness. A cab from town only cost £6, which is a cheap alternative to walking up the hill. The extremely friendly owners run the hotel by creating a very warm and welcoming athmosphere.   Myself and my other half spent a beautiful, romantic weekend in Bath staying at The Prince of Wales. The stay was extremely pleasant - Clarissa and Graham were wonderful, kind hosts and we had a fantastic vegetarian English breakfast before heading into the city centre for some sightseeing. The accomm - Really nice greeting, very friendly and flexible to our needs, we were in room 1 which was lovely and light. It is a pub so isn't the kind of thing you'd expect at a hotel, but the friendliness and general atmosphere was much better than cold hotel. Our friends stayed at travelodge and paid more and were very disappointed. Breakfast was great, and I'd definitely stay again if back in that part of the world.5

  Brocks is a really lovely Guest house. Four of us stayed in the lovely top floor family room from which you can see the famous Crescent and the Circus. The décor was so pretty throughout the whole house and the attention to detail was amazing. The lounge was beautifully decorated for Christmas complete with a sparkling tree. Karen and Rachel made us feel so wel - We received a warm welcome from Karen and her daughter Rachel. Our room was at the top of the house but well worth the climb. It was exceptional, very clean, very comfortable and the attention to detail was superb. We had a choice of breakfast dishes which were served to a very high standard. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt totally relaxed. The house is in a fantastic position as everything is within easy walking distance. I would have no hesitation in recommending Brocks Guest house
