  I was really impressed by the hotel. Having read reviews for lots of London hotels before booking I was really hoping it lived up to the pictures and it really did. On the night, as we arrived late we got a taxi (which the hotel sorted - I've just returned from a two night stay at Aloft London Excel where I had a great time. Although this hotel is not in the centre of London, the DLR line (a metro line on the surface) station Prince Regent has direct access to the hotel and the station of Tower Gateway, in the centre of London, is within a trip of 15 minutes.   The staff were superb - courteous, helpful and they all seemed to have customer focus as a basic principle. The hotel was clean and value for money.
