4* star Hotels near London City Airport

I was looking for a hotel near to the O2, and the Ramada is excellent for that. Great if you arrive at London city airport. I was made very welcome from the moment I arrived at the hotel. The room was very comfortable and I was surprised how quiet it was, especially when the hotel is next to an airport, motorway and railway ! - Anne

The Reception Staff were extremely efficient, welcoming and helpful. Check in was hassle free - as was check out. We used the Room Service facility - the food that we ordered was extremely good and the service was very fast - we were very surprised at the speed our food arrived. I would most definitely recommend the hotel. All in all - a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. - Tom

The staff were superb - courteous, helpful and they all seemed to have customer focus as a basic principle. The hotel was clean and value for money. Prices for refreshments were very reasonable and the bar meals were quick, tasty and very good value. - John

we loved everything about this hotel. the service and room couldnt of been better. we asked for some ice to be brought up to our room not knowing at the time there was no room service tho when we looked in the freezer there were ice cube trays filled up so there was plenty! what a lovely touch, customer extremely satisfied with the service and welcome from the staff. loved it!! x - Miss

Very friendly staff and extremely accomodating. Both rooms were of good size, and in excellent condition. Drinks facilities (tea, coffee, sugar) all present in the room. Table and chair on the balcony. Excellent sized beds and all furniture and furnishings were modern and comfy. SO close to Excela nd very easy access to the DLR underground. - mary

Good price for a hotel in this location. Room was very pleasant, clean, well maintained and comfortable. Service was efficient and straightforward, proprietor was very friendly and made the hotel a simple pleasure. Small and house-converted, as are most hotels this far into expensive London. I travel and stay in hotels quite a lot and this was a good find. - Mark

Very friendly, helpful staff. The room was tastefully decorated with a good sized shower room, a really comfortable bed and an electric fan to help reduce the summer heat. The breakfast was very good - lots to chose from and all very tasty. The freshly squeezed orange juice was a nice touch. - Anonymous

I arrived at the hotel and promptly met by a member of staff offering to take my bags, check-in was really quick and easy, also taking the time out to explain how use the door card in the lift etc, reception arranged for a taxi when I asked to my destination and also arranged for the taxi to be waiting for me when I had finished later on in the evening, check out was good, overall the experience... - Nicola
