Recently refurbished so decor of a high standard, room of a good size, extremely comfortable and we were lucky enough to have a fantastic view over the river. I found all that I required and more.I was particularly impressed that as I had need of an accessible bath or shower [my hip replacement was troubling me and I had booked a disabled room]I was phoned prior to my visit by a member of staff to assure me and to prepare them for the possibility of my requiring help should I need to leave my room in a hurry.I thought this a deed of ' going the second mile' and it reflected the spirit of the care we all received from the staff. I stayed here a few times over the past few months, and have to say I was greeted with a very friendly smile each time, especially Yali, the rooms were clean, and had everything I needed for my short trip. One thing that would make this trip would be new, more comfortable beds, but I survived. The staff are very friendly and the food in the restaurant is excellent and well priced, the free breakfast in the morning is adequate and there is an option for a cooked breakfast for a reasonable £4.95.
