I used the hotel to await a travelling companion and the moved on to our appointment the next morning. Bar facilities adequate. staff friendly and helpful. Excellent food both breakfast and evening dinner, well prepared and presented, fine selection on menu and good value. Resturant comfortable cosy and warm.
Very good staff & management who take great care of their guests. Nice bar area, warmed with a log fire, good selection of ales & wines. Guest room well sized, comfortable layout, plenty of storage room, clean, comfy bed and warm room. A comfortable relaxing few days away.

The hotel is very modern - everything is very clean and new looking. The rooms are a good size - we had a quad and a double, and the quad was huge.
Good to have tea-making facilities included.

The location was really fab, a great view. It was really quiet and peaceful. The beds were very comfortable, and the room itself was extremely clean. All these things are important when staying at a hotel I feel. Staff were really friendly, even if I wasn't first thing in a morning!!
