  My Hotels Galilei is an excellent hotel. I got it at a really good bargain. It's a worth the money if you are visiting Pisa. The rooms are excellent quality, and bathrooms are really clean as well. Also, the staff was extremely courteous, and quite willing to help. They've shuttle car from the airport and railway station.   The staff were welcoming and friendly from the moment I walked in. They all spoke my language, English, and were not at all offended by my complete lack of familiarity with theirs. They were quick to assist me with travel arrangements and with maps and directions to the Leaning Tower, which is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel's front door. The proximity to the Leaning Tower and other things in Pisa was perfect. My 2 year old was able to walk the distance easily. The room was more than adequate for our needs. We stayed 2 nights, and drove in to Rome and then back. Tiring, but I looked forward to getting back to our room. Would go back again!

The interior was cosy and styled perfectly to reflect Italy. The accommodation was within good walking distance from the train station, however, at first we found it difficult to find. On reflection I should have printed of the exterior picture to remember what it looked like. The breakfast was a fantastic spread.

  The location was great opposite the railway station, however you heard no noise from the trains. The receptionist who booked us in was very friendly and accommodating and we were allowed to check in and our room was ready at 1100 hours in the morning. There was 24 hour security with video cameras so felt perfectly safe. - What I liked most is that hotel was very very near to Pisa Centrali station. We didn't spend any time in locating it.   The staff was outstanding. Anything I needed they provided, whether it was directions, a taxi, our a bottle of wine with glasses when the bar was closed. The bar was great, the bartender always ensured we had snacks to eat with our drinks. Morning breakfast was great, servers were always there to fill your coffee pot.   I was pleasantly suprised on my arival,after reading some reviews I was a little worried. The host was pleasant , helpful and the B&B was cosy. I'd read a few horror reports and I just can't understand some people. Some ignorant people who said the ' Indian' lad was a rip off merchant, well he was actually Sri Lankan, extremely helpful and po... what people say » lite guy. The breakfast was lovely . The rooms arnt amazing but then you get what u pay for. Brilliant for a quick stay in Pisa, the rooms were comfy - When I booked the hotel, I did not realised that there was not 24 hours reception service, but the member off staff was happy to wait for me until midnight, which was a massive help. The room and the bathroom were nice and clean, very good value for money. I also had breakfast included, which was fantastic and a very good start of the day. I was allowed to leave my luggage and collect it later. My overall experience with this hotel was very good. Thank you for a nice stay.

  we arrived late and only stayed for one night before moving to Lucca. It was clean and very close tot he rail station (which is why we booked it) so it was easy to catch the train the next day. The kitchen was adequate for making a hot drink and a light breakfast You cannot use the cooker but that didnt bother us ---we only wanted it for one nigh... what people say » t. Cheap restaurants and cafes nearby. Wifi worked well. For one night it was perfect for us.

  Wonderful! We have stayed in a lot of hotels/B and B's in Europe and this was the best of all!! The staff was wonderful! No question was too big or small. We had a baby and 4 year old with us, and they were great with them. They put an extra twin and a crib in our room and we still had tons of room! Definitely a rarity in Europe.   This hotel was excellent for the price and only a stones throw away from the touristy bit with the tower, cathedral etc. literally 200 yards away. The room was clean quiet and comfortable even though it was so close to the busiest part of Pisa. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the optional breakfas - Location was very close to Tower etc. and very accessible, although you cannot walk from airport or train station as one might assume by distance posted. A no-frills kind of place but for price served us very well for first and last night of our trip. Staff was TERRIFIC!!! We encountered many different staff throughout our visit and they were all very personable, most helpful and very accommodating.

  Michele, the owner was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was very helpful on advising us how to reach the main sights and suggested and booked a great restaurant for us. The room turned out to be more of a suite which included a separate kitchen with tea and coffee, a microwave, ceramic hob, table and chairs. The b - The host, Michele, was so enthusiastic about his property and Pisa. The property was superb, it had the best facilities of all establishments we visited on our tour of Italy, even tea & coffee making in the room and a computer. Motion sensing lights in the public areas, thoughtfully placed lighting in the rooms, and the bathrooms featured Michele's photographs in ceramic tiles - beautiful. he also listened to our plans and made helpful suggestions to maximise the time in Pisa.
