Milan Hotels

We booked this hotel after we had already arrived in Milan as we were very dissatisfied in the place we were staying in. We found this hotel about 10-15 minutes walk from the center and a few minutes walk to the canal. It is situated very close to lots of bars and restaurants. This hotel offers a full buffet breakfast that is included in the price. it is very clean, it has 2 English stations on the tv, CNN and MTV and movies payable on request. Overall we found this hotel to be excellent value f - Jerry

Without doubt a hotel in the top 5% in Milan ... excellent business hotel. Situated in the south of Milan near to the Autostrada (highway). A metro station is just round the corner with a 10-minute metro-ride to city-center. A perfect hotel for a 2-3 day stay in Milan. - Susan

My husband and teenage daughter stayed in a triple room for 4 nights which was absolutely fine. The room was clean, towels and sheets changed. The window opened out on to a roof space so we had our own balcony. Breakfast was a good start to the day. Plenty to choose from and pleasant waiters to bring you a cappuccino. Reception staff were good too. There is a park on the opposite corner to the hotel which made the walk into the Duomo very pleasant at this time of year. Plenty of trams and met - Graeme

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Romana. It is wonderfully situated with a comfortable walk to the major tourist sites. The hotel common rooms are beautiful and the breakfast was the best on our trip. The room we had was the size of a small apartment. The staff was always friendly and very helpful with details that made our stay in Milan that much better. we picked this hotel for it's location and price. neither disappointed and we were pleasantly surprised by the room. it had a balcony and a wonderful huge bathroom. the staff was great with tourist and travel tips even mapping out routes for us to take complete with metro information. - Peter

Stayed here with adult children and were delighted with our choice. It's in a great spot and the hotel staff were very helpful. Fabulous foyer and the rooms didn't disappoint. This is real value for money. Breakfast was extensive, fresh with huge choice. What a find! - Michael

We had a really good experience when we stayed at Hotel Galles. The service was impeccable and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The receptionists and the evening restaurant staff in particular made our stay a really pleasant one. If you need to know or want anything, ask them! Facilities at the hotel were good with the sauna, steam room and gym, internet access and our room was very comfortable, very clean and the air conditioning was an absolute joy especially with the roaring temp - David

Stayed in August of 2005. Great location for the center of the city. It was a 3 minute walk, and a very easy one at that, to the center where the shops, big mall, and the famous Duomo are. The hotel rooms are ok, comfortable with small shower and tv, a/c. The breakfast was plentiful and decent... not amazing, but definitely a good start to the day. The breakfast room was cute. I have spent 3 nights in Westin Palace Hotel in Milano in Oct 23-26 2009. Reservation was made through an online travel agent with unbeatable price (91 Euros per night for Superior room including BF for 2) WOOOOW. When we arrived, it was 6 hours earlier than the check-in time, then we were welcomed by a very friendly receptionist who gave my wife a nice gift for our unattended kid when she saw his pic in the passport. I had a surprise trip to the Nhow for my 21st birthday in July for two nights. I am coeliac (means I can't eat wheat rye and barley) which concerned me when I found out that I was going to Italy where almost everything is wheat-based with their food! So, after the plane journey I was really surprised that the hotel was so grand, with lots of interesting things going on.
