Location of hotel is good if just staying overnight for a next day early day departure. The restaurant/pizzeria/pub within walking distance is worthwhile. - Anonymous

Although stark on the outside, the First Hotel Malpensa was very nice and modern inside. The restaurant was quite good and the complimentary breakfast buffet was wonderful. I was also amazed at how quiet the hotel was, considering how close we were to the airport. No outside noise filtered in at all. I would highly recommend this hotel to other travelers who are looking for a place to stay. - Deborah

I liked that the complimentary bus picks its clients regularly from the airport. I enjoyed the stylish decorations and a feeling of comfort which it provided. Also approved of "helping nature" request to throw on the floor those towels which really need washing instead of washing everything every day - not all hotels apply this policy. The restaurant is also very nice and tasty. - Anastasia

This was a great hotel at only a few minutes form the airport Malpensa in Milan. We wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the country. Evne though we were a few minutes form the airport the villa is in the middle of rural country. We ate 2 of the bests diner in all our stay in Italy. The restaurant in itself is worth the detour. - Richard

We were at the end of our trip and had little time before our flight home. It was nice to come back into familar surroundings ( more American comforts). We loved the challenge of overseas traveling but at the end of the trip it's nice to come back to familar surroundings The closeness to the airport and the free shuttle service was perfect. The staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable and although fairly close to the autostrada and 3 km from the airport, we were not disturbed by any noise. It was very convenient for our early flight back to the UK. - Anonymous

My business partner and I travel a lot, so we see varying quality. We are starting a new business and are on a budget. We were so impressed with this hotel that we introduced ourselves to the manager and told him so. It is clean, crisp and light. The members of staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The room designs are funky and clever (eg the swivelling desk!) and interesting. We would certainly stay here again and would be pleased to recommend it. - Anthony

Our rooms (one night each at the start and end of a vacation stay inItaly) were both spotlessly clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff(the man who was always at the front desk and answered our phone callsfor our two stays) was wonderful: courteous, fluent in English, andinvariably helpful. We liked everything about this hotel and the staff could not have been more accommodating. The room was new, beautiful, stylish design and spotlessly clean. It was only 5- 7 minutes from the airport, but so much nicer than staying in an airport hotel for 2-3 times the price. The breakfast was wonderful and started serving at 630 am for early flights. They also had shuttle service.Just perfect! - Gerald
