Sorrento Hotels

After having a last minute change to our itinerary forced upon ourselves we chanced across the Relais Regina Giovanna. All of the reviews looked good, they had accomodation available and the location looked to be ideal..too good to be true at short notice I wondered? I shouldn't have worried, this truly is a little gem. After battling our way out of Naples and along the very busy coast road that leads through and out of Sorennto it was a relief to take the little track that leads down the peacef - David

My boyfriend and I were on a backpacking holiday around italy and chose Sorrento for a bit of rest and relaxation before heading off to Rome. We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing hotel. The views were fantastic and the staff were the friendliest i've ever encountered. Nothing was too much trouble. THe rooms are spotless, the pool area was small but elegant and the bathing terrace offers spectacular views down to sorrento and over the bay of naples. Its about a ten minute bus ride from - Simon

Hotel Savoia was the highlight of our trip in Italy. The owners are friendly and work hard to accomodate their guests, from recommending restaurants to arranging for free taxi service to the restaurant. Hotel Savoia is conveniently located in the heart of Sorrento. Our room was spacious and clean with a great view. The most memorable part of staying here is the amazing "banquet-type" breakfast presented each morning. Rosa took pride in making fresh baked goods, fruit salads, etc. for h - Edward

This is a top knotch hotel with fabulous views, extremely fun, friendly and helpful staff, offering a warm welcome. I would highly recommend the hotel for anyone planning on traveling to Sorrento. There is no other hotel in the area matches and that has more to offer. The breakfast was delicious every morning served fresh fruits, eggs to order, breads, and even salmon. A short walk to Sorrento but out of the busier area. Easy access on the bus to Almalfi Coastline on other side of hill. Views fr - Majella

What a fabulous hotel! Great location, beautiful rooms with wonderful bathrooms and a terrific buffet breakfast. We traveled in Italy for two weeks, changing hotels four times and this was unexpectedly the best place we stayed. The staff was very helfpul, helping us with logistics, resevations and recommendations. The location is terrific to get to the train to Pompeii, the boat to Positano or Capri and the buses to the Amalfi Coast. Sorrento is a great location to explore the area and this hote - Robert

We had a fantastic time at this hotel. t was hard to find a good hotel in Sorrento. I wanted something that was trendy, central and reasonably priced. Hotel Plaza met all of my requirements. The location could not have been better. There were six of us staying in 2 rooms. The rooms are a good size, modern, clean and well decorated with decent bathrooms. The staff were extremely helpful. They even helped us with our "surprise" on the terrace which required fake room keys. We had champ - William

I have jsut returned from the Gran Hotel Capodimonte where we had our wedding reception and also stayed 2 nights in the hotel aswell. From the moment I sent an e-mail to the Grand I knew this was where we were going to have our wedding reception, I delat with Giuseppe ( the reservation manger), he was so prompt in responding to my e-mails, and nothing was a hassle. The Bellevue Syrene is simply fantastic! We loved every minute of our 3 night stay. We are 2 couples who were at the end of a 2 week trip and staying in Sorrento at the Bellevue Syrene was the icing on the cake. We had beautiful rooms (each room had 2 balconies) over looking the Bay of Naples with the most amazing views. The location of the hotel can not be improved on.....people come 24/7 to take pictures at the entrance of the hotel....the view is that amazing! We had dinner in their terrace r - William

We stayed two nights. Coming from Circunvesuviana station, just walk a block and across the square you will get the Hotel. Splendid view and very helpful staff. Room was clean. Great breakfast. Do not miss a sun bath at the beach - Stairway to (heaven) sea. And at night, walk to downtown to take some sicilian lemmon ice cream. - Jill

We've stayed at all of the properties owned by the Manniello Group. The Ambasciatori was in the same category. Each room is clean and nicely accommodated (not fancy, but just right). The breakfast (as with most European hotels) is included and has the typical Italian fare along with options for crepes and omelets. This particular hotel is a little more of walk to the center than the other properties, but the view of Mt. Vesuvius from the main dining room is unmatched! There are two well appointe - Graham
