Napoli Hotels

We were arriving at Naples airport and spending the majority of our time in Sorrento. We wanted to spend a few days looking around Naples and to visit Pompei and Herculaneum before chilling out in Sorrento. Our aim was to accomplish all this by public transport so we couldn't have chosen a better hotel. We caught a bus from the airport to Naples railway station and the BW Hotel Plaza was less than 5 minutes walk away. As far as I'm concerned, as far as reasonably-priced and decent hotels in Naples, Fl go, this is one of Naples secret gems! The location was superb; convenient to restaurants, mall, attractions, famous 5th Avenue and beach. All within 5 or so driving minutes. The hotel is a little older but certainly well-kept and maintained w/ lush tropical grounds and courtyard, a large outdoor heated pool, and a complimentary breakfast bar in Pates restaurant which is part of the hotel that is complete with e - Patricia

Hotel Piazza Belini is an ultra modern hotel inside an old palazzzo which is being stylishly developed to provide a very comfortable environment. Rooms are huge, very modern stylish fittings, desk, large flat screen satteliteTV, room safe, very clean and well appointed with king bed, brillliant split system airconditioning,drinks fridge, great bathroom and small balcony with french doors and filmy curtains looking out to the central courtyard. I picked this Hotel, as a base for travelling around the Bay of Naples for the sites. The Hotel it's self is lovely, we arrived early and that was no problem for reception staff, and check in was swift. The room although on the small size, was very nice and clean. This is a Boutique style Hotel and the decor is minimal chic if you like that kind of thing!! I never write reviews for hotels but this time I felt it was a must... Having traveled to Italy on multiple occasions I expected things to be a little lax in terms of organization and service which I did experience in Rome. However, when I arrived in Naples I had a entirely different experience. The Romeo Hotel which is located on the water overlooking Mt. Vesuvius was unlike any hotel I have stayed at in Italy. No grand entrance , no huge big sign thus not easy to find but location was very central. very good services friendly receptionists, good breakfast and very clean and comfy bed. I was so shocked to see the presentation of the hotel from the outside thought it will be bad, but at the end of my stay, I actually love it.. very friendly services and breakfast was excellent. Very safe to walk to the shops area and only 3 mins walk to the bus stop to the airport Will I stay there again, defintly ! - Carole

Napoli is my very favorite Italian city because of its art, its friendly people and its vibrant street life but. It can be exhausting and overwhelming at times. This hotel has the solution for the exhaustion. A beautiful garden with swimming pool with comfortable rooms in a restored late 19th century villa , an attentive staff and a fantastic breakfast all add up to exactly what is necessary to enjoy this most necessary of Italian cities. Yes the outside looks scary and yes it is hard to find... but, one call to the incomparable Maxime, the General manager and Jack of all hotel trades and our troubles were over. He led me to the garage with my car (Leave yours anywhere else but in Naples) and then it was up to the beautifully renovated room. The bathrooms in Italy can be pretty small for a sizeable American.. here, the bathroom was as big as ours at home! The bedroom itself was beautifully done and exceptionally comfortable. Best thing: location, by Via Toledo and Galleria Umberto, some 200m from airport bus stop (Alibus), near Castel Nuovo and boats to Capri or Ischia (Mollo Beverello). Nice and clean room with veranda and views to the Vesuvio. Breakfast buffet with coffee choice. Do not hesitate to try Restaurant Da Ciro downstairs. - Daniel

We decided to stay in The Albergo Palazzo Decumani for the last night of our honeymoon. I called to book the hotel just 2 nights before our arrival (after checking out a few hotels in Naples on LetsBookHotel) and I knew from the person who answered the phone that this hotel was the one for us. On our arrival, which was delayed by the taxi driver not knowing where the hotel was and a crazy journey through the tiny streets of Centro Storico, we were greeted warmly by the receptionist checked in - Michael

I am a very frequent traveller to Naples and this is the best boutique hotel I've experienced in a while. The rooms are quite large for neapolitan standards and the beds were super comfy. There was no outside noise even though the hotel is located within the busy and well frequented Galleria Umberto I! The continental breakfast was of gargantuan proportions (for european standards) and you'd be hard pressed not to find something appetising to eat and drink. I stayed at the Montespina for 5 months and the accomodations and staff are absolutely amazing! The hotel rooms were wonderful and the Chef was excellent. If I ever go back to Naples, Montespina will be the place to stay:) - Kathryn
