Riccione Hotels

This was our second trip to Hotel Dory and both times have been excellent. You can decide how hard or far you want to ride or do your own thing. The riding is fantastic and the hotel caters for everything you will need. The only problem for me was too much choice at meal times so I always ended up eating more than I should have ! Will be back again next year. - Amanda

The hotel was old fashioned, but despite of this it was tidy. It looks better in photos than in real life! It was strange that majority of guests were elder people, so we felt like stars of the hotel. PLUS:1.great and friendly staff;2.rich breakfast buffet;3.location( there is near bus stop and its easy to catch a bus to beach parties from it);4.pool;5. beach is near.6.live music evenings near the pool. We stayed here in April of 2008 and found the hotel to be a little difficult to find, but once we finally did find it (drive towards the water!) we thought it was very nice. I would strongly suggest you print out a large map of the city so that you can find your way from the Autostrada, that's where we went wrong...not having a good map! Hotel The One opened in march 2008. It is a stylish, modern hotel. Dominating colours: black and white. Great location: in a quit street but shops, bank and supermarket are around the corner. Distance to the beach: 150 to 200 meters. It's a few minutes walk to the main streets Viale Ceccarini and Viale Dante. Rooms are very clean and good. Not very big but more than good enough for two. We booked our b&b via email for Le Conchiglie a week before we arrived, after looking at the photos of the room and the location we decided that this was the place for us. It was over the road from the beach, the rooms looked well equipped and clean and the price was reasonable. We were not disappointed, the room was very spacious and well decorated in a modern style, there was an ensuite bathroom with a large shower and all the usuals including a hair dryer. We have just spent four days at this hotel. Couldn't fault it. Rooms well designed and equipped, bathrooms excellent we did not have a suite but the superior room which did have a street view, no noise experience and we were able to walk just across a corridor to the swimming pool and pool restaurant. Interior of hotel was very impressive, clean towels and linen and fresh supply of soap etc. every day. Staff were superb, pool attendant couldn't do enough for us, including fetching and carryi - Karn
