I booked this hotel for my mother and myself (mature adult daughter) because our flight arrived in Milan well after 10pm and we were flying home the next morning. The convenience of already being at the airport when we awakened was priceless. What a wonderful hotel! Unfortunately, due to our schedule we weren't able to enjoy some of the amenities offered by the hotel, as I would have loved to swim in their pool. all reviews » After being given mis-directions to Malpensa, we finally arrived at the terminal three hours after we arrived in Milan (they sent us to Bergamo instead of Malpensa). I was very tired and cranky when I arrived at the airport. I was looking for any indication of the shuttle bus to the Sheraton when I realized that the Sheraton was actually part of the terminal. It could not have been more convenient! Our room was spacious, clean, and beautifully appointed...a real contrast to most European hotels. T1 of Malpensa Airport is on your doorstep as is the free 5 minute shuttle transfer to t2. The staff were genuinely helpful. The room was beautifully designed, large, spacious and totally soundproofed. Super bathroom with separate shower. Tea and coffee making facilities. Incredibly comfortable bed which regrettably I had to leave at 4am. Will definitely stay here again and have recommended friends to swap from a nearby hotel. Consequently paid for the full breakfast which I struggle to eat. 1. There was no electrical outlet in the bathroom suitable for a woman's curling iron, only for a man's shaver. 2. The hotel is very large and it was a long walk to our room. The tv channels and movies control was not user friendly There was no iron and ironing board There was no mention in the booklet in the room where the restaurants were (we had been told but couldn't remember) Water from the shower covered the floor where the towel was. Room was large enough for two adults and two kids, but room was poorly decorated (very basic). Very large common areas and thus not very charming - however as to be expected for an airport hotel. Long walk to rooms. Ask for room closer to elevator if this is a problem. Using wifi in the lobby required 2 visits to the desk and 2 different as swords. It doesn't have to be that hard. The price. No free wi-fi in rooms. Enormous distance to walk from lift to room and deep carpet made luggage difficult to manoeuver. Restaurant meals were expensive. Unless you are prepared to trek back into Milan by train there is nothing to,do,except mooch about the airport and hotel. I noted that the food was,expensive but we just grabbed snacks from the airport. But I knew all this and it didn't bother us at the end of our trip in Italy. too so long for checking in, and nobody took our bags. Ugly buildind (arcitecture). Long spacious corridors with no purpose at all.
