The location was great opposite the railway station, however you heard no noise from the trains. The receptionist who booked us in was very friendly and accommodating and we were allowed to check in and our room was ready at 1100 hours in the morning. The room was basic, little dated but perfectly clean and the bathroom was fine. Towels/soap were provided. There was 24 hour security with video cameras so felt perfectly safe.
all reviews » What I liked most is that hotel was very very near to Pisa Centrali station. We didn't spend any time in locating it. Also, bus connectivity to Pisa was very good and we reach the tower in just 10 minutes. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices. Hotel and rooms were clean with good shower facilities. Staff were courteous and friendly. The location in the square adjacent to Pisa Central Railway Station makes it it an ideal stopover for travellers. Perfect for a one night stay close to the train station. Hotel was quiet and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was very good. Staff had limited English but were very nice. Very close to the Central Station (200 meters) and to the city center (a 5-minute walk). Nice, clean and big room. Comfortable beds. Nice breakfast. Breakfast was advertised till 930 we went down at 830 and they had run out of fresh bread and unfortunately there was no more. Make sure you go down earlier!. Room size was very small. Only complaint was we were not able to get the subtitles to work on the TV, but not really necessary. Just wanted to watch the local news before going to bed. The reception guy was a bit lazy. We asked for another towel and he questioned: "do you really need it now?" and didn't give us. We had to use the hand towels. As it was a one-night stay, we didn't care that much, but that was unnecessary. The main thing that I didn't like was the breakfast which was really poor comparing it to other hotels with the same grade. No lift !. No lift, mosquiitos in room. Localisation a bit estrange, far way from Pisa tower !. This is a good value for money. Clean and good hotel. Only small problem is wifi is useless. But you cannot expect much more at this price. One of 2 staff were a bit rude with us. Noisy. Hotel is low service. Everything a la carte. Air conditioner had no coolant. Fan only. The 4th bed in quad room was a wire cot with thin mattress. In order use AC I had to leave my passport at desk to get remote control. Lastly, the street is a gathering place for some seedy looking men. A block either way is fine but right in front of the hotel would be disconcerting for line females and those with young children. Air conditioning didn't work. Room was very hot and humid. Opening the windows is not an option due to lots of mosquitos and loud noise. No elevator. Bathroom is a bit small, specially the shower. Breakfast runs out quick and is not replaced. Walls were too colorful for our likings. The room was not clean enough. Breakfast, coffee taste bad, cool boil egg. Musty smelling room. Some rooms are smelly (because of smoking) and otherwise dark and in need of paint and some renovation. Fridge empty. Average WiFi at a scandalous eur 2 per hour (though I got one hour free of charge). I paid 75 eur for a large room that turned out to be very noisy, also on the inside: the shower and toilet next door seemed to flush in directly and woke me up at 7.30 am. Really, the only good reason to stay here is the location near station and airport. my room was for no-smokers, but it terribly smelled of the cigarettes tiny bed. no bread for breakfast . Once it was gone it was not replenished .
