I was pleasantly suprised on my arival,after reading some reviews I was a little worried. The host was pleasant , helpful and the B&B was cosy. I'd read a few horror reports and I just can't understand some people. Some ignorant people who said the ' Indian' lad was a rip off merchant, well he was actually Sri Lankan, extremely helpful and polite guy. The breakfast was lovely . The rooms arnt amazing but then you get what u pay for. Brilliant for a quick stay in Pisa, the rooms were comfy .
all reviews » When I booked the hotel, I did not realised that there was not 24 hours reception service, but the member off staff was happy to wait for me until midnight, which was a massive help. The room and the bathroom were nice and clean, very good value for money. I also had breakfast included, which was fantastic and a very good start of the day. I was allowed to leave my luggage and collect it later. My overall experience with this hotel was very good. Thank you for a nice stay. I couldn't believe how great this place was!!! Highly recommend staying here if you're in Pisa. The host was friendly, helpful and is passionate about making his visitors welcome. The room was the cutest room I've stayed in during my trip and if I'd known how nice it was going to be, I would have stayed longer. The train station is much closer than I expected, a Very easy walk. The Leaning Tower of Pisa is also a very scenic and easy walk from the B&B. The room no 2 we stayed in, was big and very nice furnitured! The bed was really comfort and everything clean. Breakfast was Italian style, with a big selection of different things! Kindly staff, and good location near railstation as well as bus terminal. Shopping just around the corner! Walking distance to all historical spots. Quiet in night. A place we recommend to couples, families or singel travellers. This little B&B is one of the best value places we have stayed at. You need to speak low voice, close your door carefully but anyway you will hear lot of noises. They charged me the amount on my credit card two days before, although in booking was said 'pay in the hotel'. The door to the room was glass with a thin blind. It wasn't very private. The bed was short and so our feet over-hung the bottom and it was a bit lumpy too. breakfast.. it was only sweet no savory option. Hotel was hard to find, had only a very small sign next to the buzzers for the apartment block it occupies the first floor of. This hotel had quite bizarre looking decor. It was dimly lit when walking around the B&B. The keys to the entry were hard to use. We could not drive into the street (prohibited zone) and parking (100 m away) costs 2 Euros per hour. I was really nervous because of this - and we had to wait for the guy for about 5 minutes, while I thought it was a mistake to book this place. Finally everything turned out right and we liked the place. Wifi a bit weak in the room. Uncomfortable and small bathroom, poor breakfast, noise from the other rooms and from outside. No towels in the bathroom. Difficult to find due to the change of the street name. Breakfast can improve a lot. Lack of breakfast. There is no free parking opportunity nearby and the strange smell at the accomodation. The breakfast was OK but it consisted of sweet things only. shower too small. Internet connection was not working in the room, only in the public area. Bed was not very comfortable. You can hear all the noise of cars from outside. Prepare to call on the phone to the staff while you're outside the hotel door because they may not be there. The internet connection is not good and one of the rooms -the one where I was staying - has a glass door. The place is clean but even if the furniture are mainly new, the building and the b&b itself is old and for some things a bit run down. To be practical, if you are in Pisa for a couple of nights, this is the perfect place to stay as it is cheap, clean and central. If you want to stay for longer it is not a good idea to choose this one. As many have said hard to find no sign just a door bell must have walked past it 4 times and only found it after the help of a local and then still walked past it again. room was noisy in morning due to the bins outside wi fi was hit and miss. Nothing to complain about. There was roadworks going on outside and traffic noise was constant. quite far from the leaning tower ; poor breakfast. I do not like the towel. Had agreed late arrival time however land lady was out to dinner when we arrived. A neighbour let us in.
