  The Hotel was very clean and comfortable and our room was spacious and airy. Plenty of light during the day and after dark, so cheerful and lots of room. The Porter who helped us with luggage etc was delightful and so helpful and welcoming. Staff are charming universally. Coffee was wonderful!   we had an excellent time at the Sanpi--staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were superb!. very easy to access central Milan, either by walking or metro. I also liked a breakfast with a wide range of meals and drinks. The hotel is very close to the central railway station (Milano Centrale), so it is easy to get there after arriving to Milan. - ... what people say » I liked the fact that the Berna was about a 3 minute walk to an entrance to an underground Metro station. It is also only 5 minutes from the main train station. The breakfast has a wide variety of foods and is very well staffed. I appreciated the free drinks in the room mini-bar, which were replenished daily.
