  We stayed at Ibis Wien Mariahilf for 2 nights. It was good experience. The location is great, near the wien bahnhof station which is the main one so it's so convenient to travel around vienna or going outside the city via obb trian. The room is clean and value. I have tried a meal at the restuarant. The food is nice. If you have no idea when you a... what people say » re hungry and too tired to go out. The restuarant there is not the bad choice! - The hotel is in a great location; very close to the metro which gives quick and easy access to the rest of the city. We had a refurbished room and the bed was very comfortable. The facilities are clean and the breakfast excellent. The price was expensive but, it is competitive for Vienna which is a little on the expensive side anyway. Overall I would certainly stay here again despite 1 or 2 teething problems.

  One of the best expeiences we have had amongst all our europe travel. The hotel truly had personalised service and made you feel at home. They never said no to any request.   All staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. This includes everyone from the cleaners to the kitchen staff and the two staff manning reception. They smiled and greeted guests like they meant it. This makes a huge difference when you're a stranger to a country. The rooms looked clean and smelled fresh. The beds were comfortable though I'm not sure if they would be suitable if - - Very professional and efficient staff. - Comfortable beds (rather hard mattress which is a blessing for those who like/need it). - Excellent buffet breakfast (not the American/English variety but still one of the best we had in such hotel category) - Pretty fast free WiFi Internet with a good coverage - Close to the Metro (U-Bahn) station (some 200-300 meters), so a little bit shady neighborhood is not a big deal - Nice choice of International TV channels

  The hotel was in a good location, a short walk to the u-bahn and close a huge shopping strip. You can also walk to the main sites of Vienna which we did as the weather was lovely on our visit.   Very good location - next to the U/S-Bahn stations. In 10 min you are next to the big attraction - the Wheel - symbol of Vienna. If you travel by bus from Student Agency it stops almost next to the hotel. In general everything was ok.   We really liked the large room since it had 1 king bed and then 2 twin beds in a separate room so that the children could sleep in there. Very easy access to the metro. Very quiet. - very good hotel. Cannot find any fault whatsoever. Location perfect for what we wanted. Staff excellent, will be returning very soon.

  Of the three hotels we stayed at during our trip to Krakow, Salzburg and Vienna, the Hotel Savoy Garni was our absolutely our favorite! The women behind the front desk when we checked in was warm, friendly, enthusiastic, and graciously answered all of our questions. The underground and city map the - Location was fabulous, a few minutes walk from the museum quarter, 15mins or so to st stephens catherdral and the shopping streets, underground only a few minutes walk, supermarket across the street, cafe and restaurants galore. Street is parallel to a street with more shoes, handbags and clothing stores you could wish for, staff very obliging all in all a great hotel.

  We stayed for 3 nights. Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable - great shower. Closest metro was Rossauer Lände station (u4 - green line) and about 8 minutes walk away. On the way to the metro there were several places to eat next to the river and trampolines for kids.
