Vienna Rooms for Disabled Guests Hotels

Based in a fabulously central location. in Vienna. The concierge were very helpful and friendly guiding us to restaurants that were fun, buzzy and good food. Our room...a double ensuite was DIVINE. We had a lovely area to in the room to have a drink before going out and the most GORGEOUS bathroom....huge bath and lovely modern power shower and 2 basins. The hotel provided fabulous service. Make sure you book a room that is not on the road or you will find its noisy. Breakfast was delicious. My o - James

This hotel is in a building that wasn't built as a hotel originally. The rooms are quite large and individually decorated with interesting touches. The staff couldn't have been more helpful--they booked tours for us and gave great restaurant recommendations, as well as making the reservations for us. The neighborhood is not in the Ringstrasse area, but is only one easy subway stop away. The neighborhood has lots of interesting boutiques and restaurants--good for strolling around. What a fabulous hotel! My husband and I stayed at the Ring during our 5 night stay in Vienna and it made our trip so incredibly special. When making the reservation, my husband mentioned that I am pregnant and upon check-in, I was told that the hotel would be treating me to a complimentary prenatal massage! We also received a complimentary upgrade to the X-Ordinary room which was gorgeous, spacious and immaculate with a beautiful view to the Ringstrasse. The room was lovely and the breakfast buffet was varied and delicious. The pianist playing in the lobby was delightful. The hotel is very well situated close to many interesting places, and very handy for the underground. The staff were uniformly polite and very helpful, and I was particularly charmed by Mr Kirienko, the manager, who was kind enough to let me practise my German. This is a excellent hotel in the heart of Vienna! The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful and the rooms are clean and well equipped. Breakfast is the best I've had; incredible variety, well stocked and perfectly prepared. Ambiance is modern yet warm without feeling sterile. Price range is on the expensive side but if you are looking for simple modern luxury with an ideal location, this it it! - Andrew

This is a small boutique hotel with a very good location for seeing Vienna, particularly everything within the Ringstrasse. It is a 2 minute walk to St. Stephen's cathedral and the U-3 line, 10 minutes walk to the Opera, 2 minutes walk to the Trams that circle the old city, 20 minute (about 30 Euro) taxi to the airport. This place has to be experienced to be belived. As my title says, I have reviewed over 40 5star hotels throughout the world and this is the only one that I have ever awarded 5 stars to. If you are in Vienna and can afford the the rooms then treat yourself and stay. There is no city hotel that comes close to the discreet and wonderful Palais Coburg. Right next to the herrengasse U station and bang in the middle of the old town circle, this hotel is done up elegantly and has very comfortable rooms..Was reasonably priced at 144 Euro per night first week of Oct - no breakfast - Tom

The Schild has been newly renovated and offers very comfortable and large airconditioned rooms. It is located in the wine district of Vienna, has a beautiful garden and reasonable rates. The friendly and efficient staff made our 30th high school reunion a great success! - Roy

For my first trip to Vienna, I was very happy with the Le Méridien. The location is perfect: on the Ring, opposite the Opera House, very close to the shops of Kärtnerstraße, and very near the Karlsplatz U-Bahn station, which provided direct access to the Messe Wien convention centre. The front lobby and the rooms are very chic and modern, but not so much so that you feel out of place if you're over 25! (As, for example, in a W Hotel.)
