  The hotel was absolutely 1st class! It was modern, well set up, professionally run. The facilities too were excellent and the staff were very courteous and helpful. I would absolutely recommend this hotel, and my wife and I will certainly be going back soon. - Everything was great food, spa, staff loverly

  The character of the hotel had been carefully preserved in the recent refurbishment and the quality of the furnishings etc was superb. When we had a problem with the air conditioning in our room, one of the managers Sam McCoy was very apologetic and ensured we were moved to a higher grade room as there were none available of the same grade. We loved t - Friendly efficient staff, clean rooms which were warm, plenty of seating for piece,quiet and privacy, dressing gown and slippers great,lovely food and good choice for breakfast. Complimentary newspapers and magazines. Decor and flowers displays were welcoming. Pictures with history of Wood Norton provided interest and the views were wonderful.

  We stayed two nights as we had to be in the area. We were made welcome from the moment we arrived. The pub was busy which gave it a really nice atmosphere and log fires were great. We had dinner both nights and shared main courses which they split onto two pates in the kitchen and were very generous with the vegetables & chips.   Staff were very helpful. It was great to be able to order exactly what we wanted for breakfast and have it served perfectly cooked and on time. The room was clean, comfortable and tidy with good tea making facilities and TV. The shower was hot and strong. The location meant that it was easy to get to all the places we wanted to see. - This hotel ... what people say » is a hidden gem. The room was lovely with a feel of quality about everything down to the biscuits , tea and coffee provided. The evening meals were excellent and the breakfast was really good. I can't fault this place and would recommend it to anyone and will definitely stay again. It far out weighed expectations.
