  The setting was great: very near the shops but it felt nicely out of the town and was very quiet indeed. It was a very cosy and romantic place, and the staff were fantastic. We arrived late and the receptionist made us some soup and sandwiches!! Couldn't have chosen a better hotel :) - We found the hotel staff all very polite, helpful and friendly... what people say » . It wascentral to where we needed to be. I particulary found the Hotel securityvery reassuring. The views were outstanding, and we plan to stay again,depending on our situation in this credit crunch.

  The hotel was excellent for the price. I felt that the photos on the website and the comments from other customers did not give an accurate picture. We would certainly stay at the Old Manor Hotel again if in the area and reccommend it without hesitation.   The whole experience was very good, we used your Hotel as a stop halfway to Cornwall for a weeks holiday and liked it so much that we decided to stop with you on our return. - The hotel was really quiet when we stayed, we even had the leisure centre/gym to ourselves! Fantastic. The staff are friendly and cheerful.

  We had a lovely stay, when we walked in there was an immediate feeling of being at home everyone was really friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. The Bath arms is in a very lovely setting and makes a very enjoyable stay. - Comfortable and clean room, excellent food and staff very polite and helpful.

  The atmosphere was very warm, friendly and very inviting. The setting was in such a nice place with the river/stream running through everything was just lovely. The room and en suite were spotlessly clean and there were ample supplies of tea, coffee etc. The staff were very friendly and attentive and keen to make us feel welcome. I had a very comfortable bed with lovely pillows which meant I slept really well. The from was a good size and clean with a well stocked complimentary basket, made a nice change to have plenty of milk and tea bags.

  My sisters and I met up to go shopping in Swindon. We usually just meet for the day as Swindon is a half way mark. We decided it would be nice to catch up the night before over a meal and then go shopping. We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel. - Very professional and friendly staff, good service.

Room was also nice, and both room and bathroom were really clean, we had a normal double room and it was big with good quality matching furniture. Spa downstairs was nice to have but very basic , i have stayed at hotels with nicer ones but we enjoyed it never the less. Breakfast was nice, quit... what people say » e a lot of choice and the resturant had a nice relaxed atmosphere. - Very friendly and professional staff, were polite and forthcoming with information to make our stay more enjoyable. Payment was quick and efficient and more importantly correct. Quiet location, great facilities. Good value meal for a saturday night.
