  Being a lone female traveller I am always careful about where I stay. I picked The White Horse because of the good reviews it had and I wasn't disappointed. Lovely place, friendly staff, wonderful breakfast and what a lovely surprise to see Molton Brown products in the bathroom - something you would normally get in a 5 star hotel. Lovely welcoming and accommodating staff; a room that was quiet, comfortable, spacious and with a fabulous shower (not to mention Molton Brown toiletries); a quaint little restaurant (make sure you book for dinner); good location with easy parking off road. Very little to fault!

  My daughter married at the hotel. The building itself is a lovely venue but the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, plus the quality of the meal really help make it a very special occasion.   Fantastic room, very helpful staff, excellent food. Our weekend around the area far exceeded our expectations, and the hotel was a major factor in that. Thank you! - All staff very polite and helpful. Superb, good choice of meals -excellently cooked and presented. Very clean linen. Good car park.

  Everything. Very polite staff, lovely food and very clean. The room although not with a sea view was very cozy, clean and also supplied toiletries and tea/coffee making facilities. At my last stay at the Hatfield I had a sea view which was excellent. - Both reception and breakfast staff were excellent - polite, helpful and attentive.
