  Excellent staff, the most comfortable beds I've come across in my travels, extremely good value for money and the breakfast is well worth booking and keeps you going all day - provided everything needed for a short stay. room spacious, comfortable & clean. food at adjourning restaurant for both breakfast and dinner was excellent.

  I really enjoyed my one night break here. When I arrived, all reception staff were occupied but my presence was acknowledged and I was checked in efficiently. My room was on the top floor, small but a nice size for a single and everything was clean. The pool area is not too glamorous but the pool is a very nice size for swimming and a good temperature. As were the steam and saun - I stayed here for business. The room was clean and tidy, nice little biscuits with tea/coffee etc. Yes the hotel is slightly tired, but in a quaint way, felt very homely and personal, much like the staff, very helpful and polite. The broadband is quite limiting, many words are banned. even sensible ones that I needed for work, but not a real issue.   We were impressed by our first view of this hotel. Much better than expected as was Lowestoft itself. Car park just over the road from the hotel entrance. Easily accessed lift just by reception and very few steps for disabled persons like myself. The strength of this hotel lies with the excellence of all members of staff we were in contact with.
