    As ever the location is absolutely brilliant. Pleasant staff providing a good service. As regular visitors we appreciated the efforts made to deal with the weekend breakfast issue when the hotel is full with wedding guests - by advising of the best time and warning that there might be delays. so on the Sunday morning we took a stroll into Sudbury... what people say » & had a very nice breakfast in a coffee bar. - A pleasant day for our stay so enjoyed a good cream tea on the balcony followed by Pimms (it was a surprise 70th). Later drinks in the bar seated on comfy chairs / sofa followed by an extremely good meal and breakfast the following morning.

    The classical style of the room, love the bed sheets and the bath.     Friendly staff member who really multi tasked.Loved the idea that soon the 2 fireplaces would be in use and wished we could have stayed to enjoy that. Our first experience of heated towel rails and the room heater kept us cosy.The meals were lovely, and the dining room looked out across the roadway to the countryside beyond. Lovely being inside wa... what people say » rm and cosy and seeing branches on trees bending in the wind.We chose this Inn as we had intended to visit Sutton Hoo which is close by, the next day. - I loved the welcoming service from the staff and how helpful they were. I also liked the layout of the hotel as it seemed that everything was close at hand. ie the bar, the restaurant, the lounge, the reception. This gave it a very friendly feel. The room was very comfortable with a lovely en suite which couldn't be faulted. I also liked that it was a place I could happily recommend to friends.
