The 2 nights spent at Blythswood was enjoyable from the moment we entered the door into the foyer, due to the ambience and the reception received from the staff on duty. The rooms are very comfortable; the breakfast was exceptional - a very thoughtful array of fruits, cereals, etc - even honeycombe (what a treat) and the hot food was well cooked

I've stayed here several times and love it! From classy sours, daisies and cocktails in the bar, to the whisky complemented porridge and divine haddock & poached eggs for breakfast, there's nothing to fault at Blythswood. Staff can't do enough for you and embody the friendliness and humor that make Glasgow Glasgow. The spa is amazing and free evenings and mornings for guests. My sister and I arrived earlier than the designated check in time and were greeted by a lovely staff member (Chris). He assured us that he would clean our room first in order for us to check in early. He also helped to carry our bags to our room and refused a tip. He was extremely accommodating and friendly. The Abbey Inn was a great price per night and that included a fab breakfast. The Staff were all very friendly and helpful, even before we left the country they were advising me via email about buses and taxis etc. The busy bar downstairs was comfortable and the food was excellent. -

We stayed at this hotel a few times. Its cheap and a great place to stay. A very plessant stay. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room was cleaned each day with new towels. Would reccomend this hotel. We book into this hotel when we stay here. We have actully booked for the easter weekend.
