One of the nicest bed and breakfasts we have been fortunate enough to stay in. A lovely warm, friendly welcome from Debbie and Nigel, both perfect hosts. We attended a Wedding at Coombe Lodge on the Saturday and - The B&B was lovely, and the breakfast was the best we had in ages (and we do travel a fair bit!). We had a 13 months old with us, and nothing was too much trouble for the owner - even storing our little one's fridge in the kitchen and bringing it outside our door at 7am for his morning drink. We were there for a wedding just a few miles away at Castle Combe so that was a very convenient location. We were looking for a convenient hotel to stay the night before a flight from Bristol airport. There was no noise to be heard from the airport, which is surprising as it is only a mile away. From the moment of booking, the owner couldn't have been more helpful. Even going above and beyond expectations. The accommodation was superb. We have stayed ... what people say » in 5 star hotels that would struggle to meet the same levels of comfort and facilities of the family room that we stayed in. We would highly recommend - Fantastic find. Even though they had only been up and running for one month, everything was spot on. We stayed in the family room - spotless, beautifully decorated, lovely underfloor heating, and extremely well equipped. Great views, and would be perfect for Bristol airport. The kitchen /sitting room was an added bonus, owners extremely friendly, and even tea/coffee/breakfast food was provided - not sure why anyone would want to stay in a hotel after this.
