  Fantastic environment for a family trip to marwell zoo! We loved theattention to detail in the hotel and rooms even down to the animal printmugs and penguin biscuits!   Fantastic building overlooking the port of Southampton. Everything you would expect from a top hotel. Great value dinner inclusive rate. - The service was very good, and freindly. The facilities were available if wanted. The location was great for our purposes.

  Staff very helpful and friendly - allowed us to park in staff car park, when the bay parking was full. Breakfast was excellent - lots of choice (toaster needs turning up though to get slightly darker toast); eggs were poached to perfection. Ideal location for Gunwhart Quays, historic shipyard and just a ten minute walk into Portsmouth town centre... what people say » - through the very pretty Victoria Park. We stayed in a recently refurbished room on the first floor - extremely high standard and finish, very quite - It was just ideal for our stay, mum n I hadn't been Portsmouth in a very long time, we thought the hotel was great conveniently located in the fact that was close to the places we wanted to go. The historic dockyards n the spinnaker was fabulous n magnificent and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Hotel was lovely n spacious, friendly staff willing to help n made u feel very welcomed. Close to where we wanted to go close to the ammenties and parking was great didn't need to travel far in the car

  At the Meon the staf really shone, Holly who was our waitress in the evening was excellent, we felt very special, Tania was equally fantastic who looked after us at breakfast.   The initial reception was excellent and friendly. The staff were very attentive and polite and the cleanliness of the hotel was beyond reproach. It has been the best experience of staying in a UK hotel and would recommend it. They should be congratulated on such a lovely service provided.   The couple who run Lyndhurst House a very nice homely B&B, Peter and Nancy were attentive friendly and helpful. The room was clean and cozy. Breakfast was good with no problem getting what we enjoy eating, There are a few eateries and a small supermarket close by. We enjoyed or stay there and would recommend it, we would definitely conside... what people say » r staying there again were we back in the area. - our room was very nice with plenty of space large ensuite good facilities and was very clean the bed was comfortable the breakfast is good and hearty to set you up for the day nice and hot with a choice of breakfast times peter and Nancy are great host's nothing was to much trouble we are going back again we would highly recommend Lyndhurst House

  The staff welomed us with smiles even though we arrived late in the evening and the restaurant was very busy. In my booking email I said we required a cot for our baby, it was set up and ready to use as soon as we got there. In the morning we went down for breakfast and there was a high chair there to use (although she is a bit small for that, bu... what people say » t they weren't to know!). Wish we had stayed longer as the grounds were lovely and the restaurant looked great but for us it was just one night. Woul - My husband and I stayed at the Three Lions with our son last week. We absolutely loved our time there. The room, location and staff are all individually faultless. And the food ....... Amazing!! Jane, who runs the Three Lions with her husband, was particularly welcoming. Looking forward to returning soon!
