    My wife and I stayed for two nights and for dining in the restaurant for one night we were given a free upgrade to a large double room with sea view - which was magnificent. The hotel food was superb as was the service from checking in to the express check-out. Use of the car park was free which was also an added bonus. We chose this hotel because it had parking facilities and for its brilliant location. We were delighted with our choice in every respect. The restaurant was also excellent if rather expensive.

    Staff were very helpful, we had to cancel our table booking in restaurant, staff were very pleasant in the circumstances. Waterfall at entrance very impressive! - Very nice hotel, 2 restaurants, one pub, nice staff, avis rental in the lobby, a little shop where you can buy a few things. Very nice !

    Good space in the room and bathroom. Good bed, with blanket rather than duvet. Good selection of furniture. Good dining room and good breakfast.     Everything! The staff made us feel at home, nothing was too much trouble and I can say that no other hotel I have ever stayed at, even at a higher star rating has had a better standard in everything. - Staff were very friendly and room was very large and comfortable and with a sea view as an added bonus

    The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a large room with 3 single beds and plent of room to walk around. The view was amazing, and perfect for us to get ready in and crash for one night. The rooms need a little TLC but for the price you pay it was clean and comfy enough for a short stay! You're a short walk to the Lanes and the beach front so location is ideal - Staff were generally friendly. The room was very 'homely' even though it was obviously a very old building. All I can say is that if you want to be treated like the only one at the hotel, The Grand is the place to go. The staff are excellent in all respects. Beds/pillows wonderful. Lots of towels in the bathroom. Spa - fab. Breakfast, lunch and dinner - a must. What more could you ask for - nothing.

    Terrific hotel. Very helpful staff and good attitude. Nothing too much trouble. Lovely pool and spa facilities. Separate steam and sauna for men and women. Men don't have to get involved in all the Spa stuff which is good. Best hotel I have stayed in for a long time.     A very comfortable stay. Our room overlooked the meadows at the back, with sheep grazing, very peaceful. We were able to park our car in one of the garages by our room. Breakfast is very good, we only had continental and that was more than expected with a choice of juices, fresh and dried fruits, many different cereals on a side table, plus fresh ... what people say » toast and croissants to order with your hot drink. We stayed 2 nights and had dinner both nights, wich was excellent value for money. Very polite and - We wanted an inexpensive place to go for the bank holiday weekend, and couldn't have made a better find! Such a beautiful countryside location, with lots of long walks easily available for a perfect relaxing weekend. The staff was incredibly helpful throughout our stay, full of recommendations and very friendly. The location is remote, so there's not a lot going on, but it is easily accessible by bus (make sure you bring cash, there's no ATM nearby!) and surrounded by lovely fields. Definitely

    The staff were friendly from the minute we stepped in to the minute we left They are also very helpful giving us directions and infomation on the area. Our rooms wasn't ready when we arrived so they gave us free drinks at the bar and up graded us to a rome with a sea view and a balcony. It was gorgeous.     Being in Eastbourne you are normally surrounded by alot of senior citizens. In this hotel it was modern and nice to see people like ourselves in our 40s and younger staying there. The bed was so comfortable you could get a good night sleep.Cleaniless was pristine and staff were so friendly.
