The breakfast was freshly cooked using local produce and the staff were very friendly and helpful. loved the frendlyness of the staff and fantastic food, - Delightful setting, staying at the village pub enhanced the experience of rural England. Food in the restaurant was excellent, and there was a selection of good real ale. Staff were fantastic, and the rooms clean and cosy. Our bathroom was across the hall, but didn't detract from the stay.

Everything about my stay was great I was made to feel very welcome by both of you, The Breakfast was lovely and the evening meal out of this world and is cooked fresh to order, A big thankyou for making my stay so enjoyable! We had a super room overlooking the river, the room was very comftable with arm chairs, tea/coffe making facilities, super large bed.The web site did not do this hotel justification we thought it was very good value for money and the evening meal we had was superb, would recommend this hotel to anyone. - as above plus great staff, very helpful.
