  This was a nice friendly local hotel - although the building and surroundings itself was not all that attractive the plants outside were nice and there had been a lot of thought btaken over the internal decorations, such as some nice artwork.   The hotel is set in a very good location near the sea. It has character of the old seaside town hotel, complete with tartan style carpet! Some lovely garden with tropical plants including a eucalyptus tree. I found the manager on call, Alex, very helpful when I needed change of mattress. He went out of his way to facilitate this and I was very imp... what people say » ressed by his attention to my request. Well done Alex. - stayed for 2 nights with a party of 7. and when we arrived we we`re greeted by a very nice chap at the reception and given the keys to the rooms to relax.and basically from that moment on the 2 nights was excellent and all the staff smiled and nothing was too much trouble.the 5 course meal was fab,the beds comfortable & breakfast ample.all in all a lovely weekend had by all

  We had a room with an amazing see view. Apart from a few scuffs on walls and doors caused by careless guests the room was great. The hotel staff couldn't do enough for us and went out of their way to accommodate our every need. If you eat in, you WILL put on weight! Comfortable side room with reasonable view. Very clean, despite the obvious age of the building, which adds to the "antique charm". Enjoyed my few days break and would happily return.
