The staff were exceptional in every manner. Each one we spoke to were very polite and accomodating, especially when booking out as we were leaving at 6am the next morning and they prepared a fantastic breakfast which was delivered 30mins before we departed at 5:30am. Everything! The location is perfect for walking the hills and fells. The pub caters for everything so no need to go elsewhere. Food is excellent, staff friendly and efficient. Book if you require meal in restaurant, it gets very busy. Rooms comfy and clean, loads of hot water. Great real ales. Very busy with walkers. Three open fires. Fab.
