  I highly recommend this place. Friendly staff, wonderful choice and quality of breakfasts. The owner, told me he used to own a fish restaurant so that's obviously why the fish dishes are so perfect. Modern, bright up to date bedroom with a fabulous power shower. I have stayed at many B and Bs in this area and this surpasses the lot (and it's a lo... what people say » t cheaper than many of the others) Great location. - Great location. Safe and easy walk to both Windermere and Bowness. Food was unbelievable. Huge choice and excellent quality. Dining room is modern and there was a good atmosphere at breakfast time. Staff were efficient and friendly. Our budget room was clean and cofortable. Perfect for our stay. Limited parking on the premises but lots of free and unrestricted parkining across the road.

  We found the hotel to be lovely and comfortable and very tastefully decorated and had a very warm welcome on arrival. The breakfast was excellent and we were made to feel very welcome!   The staff were very friendly and attentive.The grounds are superb and if you want simply to relax and do nothing the public rooms are delightful places to spend time. - The staff and service were exceptional.   Worth every penny - a fantastic small hotel It snowed heavily during our stay and the staff even cleared the snow from our car - We stayed in the Bowness suite and it was beautiful, we could not fault a thing at this place, will return soon

  Excellent location. The apartment was very well equiped and the ownermade us feel very welcome. Although we stayed there in summer it wasquite cold and wet but heating was available all day if we wanted touse it.   Wow, we stayed here in Dec 09 and it is wonderful, no wonder its the aa funkiest guest house in the whole UK! will return and would recommend highly, try the Bowness suite, it has its own pation, amazing bathroom and your breakfast magically appears out of nowhere! - The staff made us very welcome and the room was fantastic will be staying there a... what people say » gain.

  Bed was comfortable, good clean bathroom. Food was really excellent. All the staff were friendly and helpful. For a one night stay it would be superb.
