The hotel is set a long way off the road with lovely grounds. The rooms look as if they are chalet style, each with a balcony, and inside the open plan bathroom/shower is a nice touch and makes the room even more spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Room exceptionally clean and well presented. The food in the restaurant was superb and the waiting staff professional and friendly. The pool, steam room and sauna all very well done in the spa - great for a relaxing couple of days.

From arriving to leaving everything and everyone was excellent.The golf was very good (though rather slow, following a ladies friendly match). St Mellion is a superb place to stay. The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable with in-room tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Only on site for 10 hours (arrived late and left early) - but what I sore was all good.
Breakfast options on the day start from approx £5 if you want tea and toast, lots of options up to the £12.50 full English which was very good.
Spa looked great, would have loved to have spent more time there.
The place was apparently full, I sore about 6 guests during my short stay and heard no one - very quiet. Beautiful surrounds.
