This must be the comfiest B&B I stayed ever. I don't remember
any uk hotel, let alone B&B, having such a diversity and quality of

We liked everything! We booked largely on the basis of reviews we'd
read, and our experience bears out the numerous positive comments
we'd seen. Very comfortable, well maintained and spotlessly clean,
very good breakfast, owners welcoming and helpful. We didn't need to
go into city centre, but the bus service looks good. We tried one of the
pubs recommended by the owners (about 25 min walk) and had a very
enojoyable dinner.

I stayed in Stable no.2 & it was lovely, comfortable bed & good quality bedding. Struggled to get out of it in the morning!

Owner was great - extremely helpful and very friendly. He kindly gave us a lift into town as a favour and was full of advice about fun things to do locally. Really peaceful and quiet and very relaxed location. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet civilised break in the country.

The welcome was very friendly and informative. The location is delightful and the decor beautifully finished. I had the ground floor room with a double and a single bed. Comfortable bed and I had a very quiet night's sleep.
Breakfast was top quality and plentiful.

The whole booking process was very easy. The house exceeded our expectations in every detail. The owner was there to meet us on our arrival and made us feel very welcome giving us a comprehensive tour of the property. We appreciated the welcome pack especially as we arrived on a Sunday evening. It also had the bonus of backing on to a park with a children's playground which our grandchildren greatly enjoyed.
