    Everything from the greeting from the staff at the reception to the layout and the quality of the room was excellent. Hotel is in a great location and as the building was a former period university building all the rooms will all have slight variation in layout and views! For the tall....     On arrival we were warmly greeted & asked if we needed any information regarding our stay. We were soon given a map with directions to local restaurants etc. The accomodation was very comfortable, immaculate & the shower was perfect. Our cooked breakfast was absolutely lovely! We stayed in the small double room which was quiet and pleasantly sunlit and breakfast was 4star. The host does everything with soft spoken class that is a rarity to find today. Highly recommended.

Will certainly go back if I have to - We are a group of 5 classmates. When I search on the internet, all accommodations in Cambridge are expensive and outside the main campus. I then choose Lovell Apartments as it has the best pictures of the rooms. It definitely the best choice for groups of people or for families. We have a three bedroom villa, excellent design and fantastic furnished. Although it will take 40 min to walk to the town center, Every Penny you spend is worth the value.

    This was my third stay at the Varsity and I can't wait to go back. The location is perfect, it's right beside the river, very close to the main shopping area and the beautiful buildings of the University. The staff are very friendly and helpful throughout the hotel.     Everything was 100% perfect for my stay. The staff were very attentive and helpful to my needs and requirements, the room was beautiful and very well equipped and the hotel in general was kept to an extremely high standard. I paid for four star, and I received four star. I would definitely stay there again and probably will sooner rather than later... what people say » . - The staff were friendly and helpful. The contemporary decor with the old style of the building worked extremely well and the room and facilities were excellent.     We spent two nights in this small friendly B&B. The landlady made us feel like we were family friends, and it was her welcoming manner that really made our little trip perfect. The room was very nice, comfortable and spotlessly clean, with all the necessary facilities in place. We were left in peace to come and go as we pleased, but the landla... what people say » dy went out of her way to make sure that we knew how to get around, get back and find places. It was a pleasure to stay there and if we visit Cambridg - The Landlady was very friendly and nothing was any trouble. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean, I have stayed in many hotels in my life and appreciate cleanliness.     Anstey Hall is fabulous! I would describe it as "Boho Chic....The Building is wonderful and the decor fun and stylish. I stayed in room 6, wonderful comfortable bed, pillows and linen, beautiful wetroom. An honesty bar - very well stocked and breakfast in the ballroom, help yourself to a fantastic array of Coffee, teas and juices, pastries, fres... what people say » h fruits and berries, yogurts, Cold meats and cheeses etc. Grounds were beautiful and staff were friendly and helpful. I shall definitely go back. - We booked the hotel as a stopover for the duxford air display. We found the hotel to be in a stunning old mansion house which was lovingly restored and maintained by its present owner. The rooms were excellent with a really good size ensuite bathroom. The grounds were large and it was really great to be able to enjoy a glass of wine on the veranda. It was a great stay and I would happily recommend it to family, friends and complete strangers.
