  The nicest place we have stayed where dogs are truly welcome. Our stay was very relaxing and not over priced and your staff were chatty and very welcoming. We came on a very sunny weekend where we enjoyed drinks in the court yard in the afternoon which was very nicely kept. We even managed to sit out and have our breakfast and read the morning pap... what people say » ers in the sun, very relaxing. As it happened there was no weddings on the weekend we stayed which probably made it a lot quieter than usual. I believ - This hotel never stops amazing me. I can not describe how brilliant the hotel is. We got married at the hotel a few years ago & returned to celebrate our anniversay. The hotel upgraded us to the honeymoon suite without us asking. They greeted us as we checked out and wished us "a happy anniversary" Its service that you rarely see anymore and just makes our memories go on & on. Thank you for treating us as 5* guests and making an amazing stay.

  Everything about it - Reception was warm and friendly - Bar service was tops and reasonably priced. Wine selection was good, attention to detail super, most of all the food was out of this world. Worthy of top chef awards. We thought all the staff paid attention to detail and worked hard to ensure you enjoyed your stay. Excellent - would go agai... what people say » n. - Very friendly staff, very good menu and wine list and good value formoney with the 'Wine and Dine' package. The real ale was available duringour stay. Good location for Oakham town centre and Rutland Water. Willstay longer next time.

  The location on the banks of Rutland water are unbelievable. I am a regular user of this hotel and like it so much I came back for their Christmas package in 2008; I must say that the staff are always friendly and make you feel at home. The restaruant is one of the best that I have had the opportunity to eat in and it draws me in every time I visit... what people say » the hotel. - top clas service--a really enjoyable stay-excellent spa faciities-will be going again..............
