  Even though we were booked into the Sapphire, we ended up a few doors down at the 'Pearl' which is their sister Hotel. All rooms in each Hotel are the same according to the Pearl Manager, so that was fine with us. Our room was in the 'sub' area below street level, but still with a window to the outside so wasn't claustrophobic. The room itself was... what people say » decorated to a high standard, and the bathroom, even though a bit small, was also well equipped, Toilet, Shower and Washbasin, all nice and new. Brea - I was very pleased with the service when I arrived, the people were polite and immediately got me an iron, which I needed as I was on a business trip. The room was quiet and I was most impressed with the bed. Very clean egyptian sheets and good mattress. An added surprise for me was the continental breakfast. I thought I would just be offered a croissant! I also had scrambled egg on toast which was great! Because of my experience I have re-booked again for my next business trip and I hope the e

Good selection of toiletries in the bathroom, cooked breakfast/cerals is served in your room (no fruit). Very central in London, but outside of conjestion zone (sky tv in room with movie channels).   The cleanliness of the room and the beds was great, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Also, it is a quiet neighbourhood, so you can get enough sleep to gain energy to walk thru busy streets of London and the nearness of the tubes, local pubs, bus stations and supermarkets is really great (about a 5min walk to both stations).   Assistance given by staff at the reception desk. - Room was clean, warm and comfortable with everything we required. The full english breakfast was lovely and well worth the money. Most of the staff were very polite and friendly. Would definately stop there again.
