  A great location, only 3 mins wall to Tower Hill tube and 6 mins to tower of London and London Bridafe and the southbank. We upgraded to executive room for £40 per night which was good value as it then gave us breakfast and complimentry drinks and food in a privare room between 5pm and 6pm on both nights. We went to the Sky lounge on both nights and was great to sit outside for beers and cocktai - We were greeted immediately upon on our arrival from a very helpful, efficient member of the reception team. As we had arrived early our room wasn’t quite ready, but the receptionist immediately got onto the housekeeping to make it a priority. We were given the delicious warm cookie to eat while we checked in. We left our luggage and went to do some sightseeing. When we arrived back we were given our key to our suite and another delicious cookie. Our suite was spotless and a delight to spe

  Good location just a couple of hundred metres from a dlr station and right by the Thames. Friendly, efficient welcome from obviously highly professional staff, who quickly changed the beds when we pointed out we'd booked a twin rather than a double. Although we had booked room only, because we were there for the London Marathon, the hotel provided fruit, a cereal bar and L - Staff was exceptional, I have never experienced such seamless service. Housekeeping kept our room spotless. The housekeeper even offered to have a humidifier brought to our room when she heard me coughing. How thoughtful. While dining in the restaurant the staff noticed I was under the weather and made me a special tea. We were sitting in the lounge area and a staff member from the front desk noticed we needed refills on our beverages and alerted the food and beverage staff. I could go on and

  My husband and I stayed at the South Place Hotel for a week's vacation. The hotel is in the heart of the business district, so it is a quieter neighborhood on the weekends, but bustling during the week. There are a number of nearby pubs, and a Marks & Spencer across the street if you require groceries.   It is an elegant hotel in a quiet but very nice district. It is very close to London Bridge, Tate Modern, Borough Market, Shakespeare globe. Within walking distance there is nice restaurants and cafes. There is even a cinema across the hotel. The tube is within 10-15 min. walk from the hotel. To sum up B2 has elegant - Extremely comfortable and enjoyable stay! Very quick check in with lovely staff who helped us to find bus routes. The room we stayed in was amazing - everything from the layout to the comfy bed and huge shower made our stay so fun. We also had a great view onto the courtyard where the sun came in, and were able to see the park. We were able to leave bags for the day. Tower Bridge was just down the road! Short bus journey to Waterloo/Southbank areas too.
