  This hotel is a gem. Strategically located for the theatre and shopping district we could not have asked for more central. Newly refurbished we booked a small room but beleive me is big enough and has a clever boat like seating area with a desk and all plugs you can need. We did not have breakfast inthe hotel, which serves it in a separate restaur... what people say » ant, but just across the entrance there are many places you can have breakfast, so no problem. Unfurtunately it was bitterly cold but it must be magni - Location: near British Museum which we were visiting for exhibition; virtually next door to Holborn Tube; close to Oxford Street but also next to the greenery and relative peace of Lincoln's Inn Fields - so a quiet night. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance - including places for breakfast as not included (Fleet River Bakery or Paul's). Small room but very clean and modern with smart bathroom.   I read a few negative reviews about Pestana London on letsbookhotel.com and on TripAdvisor. I'm not one for writing reviews but decided I should do this one. This hotel was a completely different experience from the negative reviews. The Deluxe king room I stayed in on the 9th floor was perfect and had a lovely view over Battersea park just like I... what people say » requested. The staff was very helpful and even when I needed to do some ironing, all I did was call reception and an ironing board and pressing iron - It was value for money, bed rooms spacious clean and very comfortable beds the lovely white leather coutch in room added elegance and comfort.Breakfast was good luckily we paid for breakfast on chek in it was 12.50 per person. I took it positively the distance from the tube sloan square about 15 mnt fast walk half hour slow but it is a good thing we need excersise i considered it my GYm work out for the morning to walk with bags to the station surely we need this walk thus everything was just g

  The bathrooms and showers were exceptionally clean. I was worried that there would be a line for the showers but I only saw one person my entire stay. It is very quiet and did not have any issues with being woken up in the middle of the night. I was surprised to see that there were many different age groups represented.
