    A modern hotel with free wi-fi and free facility of an ironing room which proved useful. We stayed in a standard room with good wet room at the front of the hotel overlooking a busy road but we heard no traffic noise. The air conditioning very efficient. The breakfast at the hotel was excellent value for money with extended breakfast times at week... what people say » ends. We arrived in Brighton by train for a shopping weekend and visit to the Pavilion. The hotel is situated within a two minute walk of the station. - Staff extremely friendly and happy to help. Location is fantastic right by the station and a short walk to the north laines. Room was clean and spacious, fairly functional but that's not a bad thing. The lobby and communal areas and well decorated and welcoming. We had a room at the back of the hotel on the top floor and slept soundly even with the window open- anyone who has visited Brighton before will appreciate how rare this is!!

    The location was perfect, the staff were more than helpful, the buffet breakfast provided was all you could want and was of a good standard. The hotel was perfectly clean and the beds were very comfortable.     We really liked the hotel thought it was very urban chic. Loved theextra little touches. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choicealthough could have been hotter !!! zilli restuarant food was excellentwe didnt get time to try the cafe but will on our next trip to brighton.Overall we were very very impressed.     Staff were excellent & helpful.young lady on the Tuesday evening with v short blonde hair asset to the hotel along with the breakfast lady who was there everyday (middle age long hair) was so lovely. Rooms were spotless, we stayed in 519 with 2a/1c and had lots of room. Ate dinner n hotel twice ad canno fault the food- v varied menu. Woud stay... what people say » again and defiantly recommend. We were 2 minutes from the lanes and only a five minute stroll from the sea front & 10 from the pier at the most . - We liked the size of the family rooms. We split the 5 members of the family girls in one room and boys in the other. Breakfast on both mornings was amazing, we never qued or had to ask for something to be replaced. The staff were efficient and very polite. Our family really really enjoyed our stay and will be using the Hotel again when we next visit.

    The location is great...right by the sea front and with easy access to the best areas of Brighton's dining and shopping. The old building used to be wine merchants and has a beautiful staircase and reception area. Our accommodation was very comfortable and well equipped...including the feather pillows that we had requested. The bar staf - Everything about the stay was excellent, from the moment we dropped our bags off (earlier than check-in) to actually being shown the room (bed was so comfortable), to the bar and bistro. Found all staff excellent, very friendly and very helpful (recently back from Las Vegas where I stayed in a supposed luxury hotel! everything was the complete opposite too the Hotel du Vin). Both of us wished we had booked that extra day!

    The hotel was great, clean, spacious, modern, and our stay wasvery reasonably priced. As a group of 11 women, we were allocated a group of rooms together which was great!     The hotel made you feel at home, had a very enjoyable stay. Even thou we were only there for two nights we felt that we had had a very relaxing time and felt very refreshed. - The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were of a very good size. We loved the feeling of grandeur and would definitely recommend the hotel to others.

    The staff were friendly from the minute we stepped in to the minute we left They are also very helpful giving us directions and infomation on the area. Our rooms wasn't ready when we arrived so they gave us free drinks at the bar and up graded us to a rome with a sea view and a balcony. It was gorgeous.     My wife and I stayed for two nights and for dining in the restaurant for one night we were given a free upgrade to a large double room with sea view - which was magnificent. The hotel food was superb as was the service from checking in to the express check-out. Use of the car park was free which was also an added bonus. We stayed in 'Lewes', a small room, very nicely designed (with an emphasis on glass blocks) and furnished. It was next to the lift (elevator) but we were not at all disturbed by operating noise. It would be nice to have an option of which themed room you get and to see the options online - probably possible if you call them up though. Jacuzzi in the Sea-view rooms works a treat! American style diner below (room service available). Huge portions in the sharing platters.
