A wonderful oasis. And of course the location, in Clifton, is a stones throw away from all the shopping one needs. The host could not have been more accommodating and helpful.

Staff couldn't have been more attentive and professional - little touches helped like giving my son a kiddie's pack on arrival and a voucher for room service milk and cookies. Breakfast was brilliant, lots of choice and again great service and staff were really knowledgeable about the area. Pool and spa were immaculate and really nice, room was good size, well furnished, everything worked. It was a super hotel.

  I booked this hotel for my 73 year old mum. Initially she was on the 6th floor (there is no lift). As soon as she mentioned it they moved her to the first floor. She thought the staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. She thought the hotel was spotlessly clean with lovely rooms and decor. She loved the garden area and will definitely stay... what people say » again. - Extremely friendly, delightfully modern, exceptionally clean, and Clifton is always a pleasure. Local to good food establishments. A seperate but integral ultra modern bar downstairs, with also extremely friendly staff , I always enjoy staying here.

  I have just moved to Bristol for work, and stayed at the yha several days while looking for accommodation. Overall, yha Bristol is a very good hostel compared to the standard. It is new and clean which is pretty rare for hostels. Showers are new and clean too. Tv lounge on the ground floor is a great concept. Excellent location and staff was very ... what people say » friendly. - I had a great stay. The hostel had really good communal areas - more like a chic coffee house than a budget hostel. The rooms weren't quite as nice but perfectly acceptable. The wifi was good but you have to pay for it and it doesn't reach the bedrooms - only available in the communal areas. Location is fantastic.
