The hosts, James and Maria were most hospitable and made us feel welcomed. The room was large, very comfortable and very quiet. The included continental breakfast was varied and excellent quality and the optional hot breakfast was delicious. The townhouse is a comfortable 20 minute walk through a lovely extensive park adjoining a river to the centre of Cardiff. There are a number of restaurants within a five minute walk that cater for all types of food. We will be staying here again if next in

The Elgano exceeded all expectations.
My stay was on a weekend when the Welsh rugby team were playing so it was a busy weekend in the City centre.
I arrived at 7.30pm on Saturday and even though I arrived at what seemed a busy time in their restaurant/bar I was greeted with a hello by smiling and courteous members of staff and checked in promptly.

Unlike many hotels I've stayed in the WiFi was unlimited which meant I could browse and catch up easily and it was a decent speed too. Top marks for this!

The Owner was warm and welcoming. Noticing my use of a walking stick, she offered us the choice of 2 rooms, as she was concerned for my comfort. I have never had this consideration before!! The staff was pleasant and helpful. The rooms were modest, but a great value for money and also very clean. The hotel is on a good location close to the city center, but still very peaceful and safe. Breakfast was excellent as well, fresh bread, yoghurts, fruit every morning. I would definitely come back to stay at the Beverley, especially if I come back with friends or family.

A traditional pub serving excellent food. The batter on my fresh haddock was divine - the best I've ever tasted. The busy restaurant, on two levels, is very popular with locals and no wonder! The refurbished rooms with tasteful décor are modern, clean and comfortable, and well-appointed. You can watch TV in the bath but it's not compulsory! Very friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. There are only five rooms, so book early!
