    The Waterman is a very pleasant place to stay if you're an easy-going person: it's clean and comfortable, but the bathroom's shared so you have to be OK with possibly waiting for the shower and the toilet. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful (especially Alex - hello! :-D). The breakfast was simple but there was a lot of food and the wire... what people say » less connection was very good. It's 10 minutes walk from the centre. - Nice and very helpful staff, ready to make small, but significant favours (like offering an extra duvet or calling a taxi on a foggy early morning) when it matters the most. Clean premises, comfy bed, clean linens and towels. Rather small rooms, but intelligently arranged. A thumbs-up for the simple, but tasty breakfast (oh, les croissants! :)). A 10 minutes' walk to the city centre. Great!

    We had a really good stay for the folk festival. The rooms were lovely, the beds super comfortable and the cooked breakfast definitely the spot in the morning. We would recommend the place to anyone wanting to stay a bit further out from the city center. As our destination was cherry Hinton hall it was perfect! - Absolutely loved staying here wi... what people say » th its proximity to the Cam and Byron's Pool walking track as well as easy bus access to Cambridge. The staff were super sweet and helpful, breakfast generous and the original buildings of the pub enchanting NOT luxurious but a nice change from tiny London hotel rooms!
