... what people say » e wanted to lie in. - I was impressed by this hotel. It was easy to find, close to the seafront and walking distance of where I needed to be for my work. The manager was polite, friendly, helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was extremely good and freshly cooked. Room very clean, too. I ll reccommed it and stay again if visiting Brighton, even with friends.

Helpfullness of reception staff on how to travel on PublicTransport (Buses) from Hove to Brighton. - The staff were very helpfull and polite. Staff were generally friendly. The room was very 'homely' even though it was obviously a very old building. Was cosy at night. The area wasn't too noisy even though it was on the beach. Very pleased with my stay, already planning to stay here again when me and my friend next visit Brighton.

Lovely friendly staff so helpful best staff I've met at a hotel in a long time!

I thought it would be awful based on the reviews here but was so
pleasently suprised. The staff were great. The rooms are budget
accomadation with far better facilities than a hostel. You get your own
toilet and shower, tv, towels, full length mirror and tea facilities.
For the price they charge you are really getting a bargain. I would stay

Made to feel welcome and provided facilities to store our bikes.
We got what we paid for which was a room with a television, tea/coffee facilities, comfortable beds and a en-suite bathroom with a decent shower.
The hotel was near the seafront so not far to walk to find somewhere to eat and drink.

Our host, Gail & Peter, were very welcoming and helpful with maps, pointing out places of interest to visit, access to the different transportation.
