... what people say » t fault, even gave lifts to and from nearby pub. - Missed flight out of stansted so was feeling pretty fed up. The Willows Guest house was just perfect. Approx 6 mins away, pick up from airport, which was just to good to be true, Twin room is compact but has everything one needs for overnight stay, bed really comfy,location beautiful, rual countryside, thatched roof to main house, I would most definately recommend and definatley stay again.

We loved that staying here was about as close to being in your own home as you can get. The location is perfect for getting to Stansted airport quickly. The room was everything you could hope for in a bed and breakfast with super comfy beds and wonderful choices for breakfast to include freshly baked croissants made to order. Free parking, free wifi, open stocked kitchen, toys for the kids to play with, close to IWM Duxford and Cambridge and warm welcoming owners...what more could you need?

The building looks very old from outside but when you go inside you can see everything has newly been refurbished. However, you can feel long past history of the building. The manager Raj is very helpful and polite. He carried my luggage all the way to second floor and also available to help you even after midnight. Room was clean and big enough.

It's quirky and charming. The room was lovely and crucially, not
horribly over-heated. As the owners don't live on site there is food
for breakfast left in a little fridge - so no need to watch the clock.
For a cooked breakfast or brunch you can visit the Tea Rooms downstairs
(I had scrambled eggs with smoked salmon - really good).The people I met
were friendly and helpful.

Everything was just perfect, much better than expected.Tony, the host is nice, welcoming and flexible. We stayed there a couple of nights and spent the weekend there. The room was clean and furnished with sophisticate taste, combining perfectly antique and new. The atmosphere is so nice and warm that the risk is not to go out at all : ) also because if you want you get breakfast in your room the night before!
